Getting outdoors this time of year can sometimes be challenging and down right painful! It’s freezing!!! I can barely stand this cold weather to go walking with Chuy the Chihuahua! BUT, that should not stop any of us from getting in at least 30 minutes of activity a day. Last year I discovered my secret obsession of working out at home. Why?

♥ I don’t have to worry about anyone making fun of me. (Not that I care.) Yea, we all care.
♥ It’s convenient.

♥ I can go anytime because my house never closes. Again, no excuses!

♥ It’s free if you have On Demand. They don’t give you the full workout like the DVD but you can sample it. I ended up ordering the DVD’s I really liked.
♥ It sure beats dealing with those New Years gym crowds!

The 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. It’s quick (30 minutes tops). It’s effective. It kicks your ass. You will feel great afterwards and trust me when I say, you will see results within the first week!
Jillian Michaels: No More Trouble Zones. Another Jillian favorite. All of her workouts are super effective and burn the fat.
Belly Dancing. This is sooo much fun! Especially at home where nobody can see you! It’s a great workout for your core, hips, and waist.
Cardio Kickboxing. Probably one of my favorite ways to work out. I like feeling stronger knowing I can kick some ass! Kickboxing is so empowering and lots of fun!
