Yesterday was actually a GREAT day! For a couple of a reasons:

1. I had a mindful eating day. I made a conscious effort to pick the right things and stock up on some healthy items at the grocery store.

2. I had my first personal training session. Well, it was more like a consultation since it was the first one. Let me tell you, some times, the right people come into your life at the right time!

I’ve always considered a trainer but I refused to have some skinny ex-cheerleader bitch tell me how to lose weight and work out! I needed someone that has been there. Someone that just gets it.

My trainer used to be overweight . . . 100 lbs overweight! She looks absolutely amazing! We had a really great conversation and I could totally relate with her and what she has been through. I am so inspired by her and her story. I really do believe that people are meant to come into your life for a reason and at the right time . . . because now, I am mentally ready for this.

I have a few free sessions from the gym and I’m seriously considering investing in this, for myself. This is my year to finally break though and make the changes I need and want!

I learned something about Wendy’s yesterday! I had been consuming more Points than I thought. Yikes!!!! I’m obsessed with their Chicken Pecan Apple Salad. When I look it up on my tracker, it says the full salad is 9 points. I assumed that included the pecans and dressing. I mean, why wouldn’t it? What’s the salad with out it? LOL. Wrong!

Well, last night I ordered the half after the gym and had to look it up online. Turns out the half i s 9 points WITH the dressing and pecans!!! OMG! So, the full with the works? 15 points my friends! Good LAWD!!!!

Well, this is a learning process….right? LOL

I’m sure it’s still better than cramming down a double cheeseburger.

To everyone else that is doing Weight Watchers, how is it going? What are you learning?

“The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”
