Progress since last week’s column:
- Bridesmaid Dresses ordered and paid for- Check
- Bilingual DJ reserved and paid for – Check
My next goal is to select and order the invitations. I don’t want to spend a ton on something half the guest list is going to throw in the trash. I want something unique that incorporates our theme.
I want to keep it simple and easy. I’m anti Reception card. Total waste of $$$. No bows, sealing wax, etc.
I have been thumbing through magazines and browsing online to see what I like. I have yet to find anything with the right color scheme, logo, or overall design. That tells me our invitations are going to be really unique and I’m EXCITED!!!
Here is some inspiration from ETSY:

I really like the first and the second. How exciting! Have fun picking them out.
I went to Joanns and bought the DIY Invitations, they sell them at Michaels too. Basically you go to a website and word everything they way you want it, then print it out on the invitation, and then put it all together… This is what ours look like..
I like the last 3
JessRaquel – I am thinking of doing that as well. I just cannot see spending hundreds on invitations! Your look so pretty!
Thanks MissHaneefa! Those are the layouts I’m shooting for.
I love the birds and the bees invite! It’s so adorable and fun!
They are all beautiful! Coming over from SITS – and looove your bio – between a rock hard body and a fat place – very funny!
I like that one too Alexandra. It doesn’t match our theme but I loved the overall layout.
Thanks for stopping by LBDDiaries! Stick around, it only gets better!
The third one is my favorite. I hated all the details of wedding planning, but it seems like you have yourself under control.
Stopping by from SITS
Thanks eclipsed. As stressful as it can be I seem to enjoy it! LOL
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
