Welcome all my new followers! I am excited to get to know each of you. A warm thank you to all my followers, both old an new šŸ™‚
In this weeks Wedding Wednesday the focus is on bridesmaid dresses. I am currently in the process of selecting the dresses for my wedding and I think I’ve narrowed it down to “the” dress. The good news is we ended up finding it at Dillard’s which means no long order times, no alterations, and just ease of everything because it’s not a traditional bridal salon.
I wanted to make sure the dresses compliment my gown nicely and still fit all the elements I was looking for. At the same time, I want my girls (there are 4) to be comfortable and actually enjoy the dress. Since I’m having another major migraine today I’m keeping this post short and sweet.
If you are a bridesmaid here are some books I recommend as resources
Let me know what you think of these pics. These were taken on my Maid of Honor during our shopping adventure. Based on the color and theme of my wedding, any recommendations for shoes and accessories?
The dress from Dillards. It has all the elements I was looking for including the color. I thought I wanted long gowns but I fell in love with the tea length dress. I do love the old Hollywood look and I think this will add to that flavor. What do you think?

A close up of the top. The color is actually more like a plum purple in person. Since everyone has long hair, I want them to wear it on the side, no necklaces, and a nice pair of earrings which I will select and purchase as a gift.

Ā I knew I wanted them in one shoulder dresses. Here is a closer view as this strap adds a level of detail without bling which would take away from the ambiance of my gown (which has lots of bling). This complements it well without making the dress plain.
