As a curvy girl who is also losing weight, I have a hard time finding clothes that fit my curves perfectly. I kept seeing ads in my newsfeed and other bloggers talking about a plus size clothing rental subscription called Gwynnie Bee. I have to admit that my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to give it try since they were offering a $10/month promo.

Gwynnie Bee is a monthly clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. That said it’s not just for “traditional” plus sizes which is awesome since I tend to fall in between straight and plus sizes, depending on the clothes and where I’m at with my weight loss journey. You pay a monthly subscription fee and they send you clothing items based on your selections in your virtual closet.

My Experience with Gwynnie Bee

Since it was only $10 for my first month, I decided to try the three piece subscription which is normally $79! I liked two out of the three pieces they sent but I LOVED this fur vest the most.  I wore this when we took Chuy to see Santa which was perfect because it was freezing that day!

Curvy Fashion from Gwynnie Bee

I’ve been wanting a faux fur vest for awhile so I just couldn’t imagine returning it!  Gwynnie Bee gives you the option to buy the item at about 50% off the retail price. So yea, this baby is now part of my REAL closet!

I have to admit I really like the concept of Gwynnie Bee but I decided to cancel it now that my $10 promo is over. It’s a great way to try new brands and styles without the hassle of shopping or spending full price. However, I think it’s a little pricey and I’m not 100% thrilled with the selections. Most of the items are stylish but some are sort of frumpy and that’s NOT my style what so ever! Also for the price, I don’t like that I can’t control which items I receive each month.  I would reconsider in the future if some of the things I just mentioned were to change.

But hey, at least I found this irresistible fur vest, right?!
