How many times have you caught yourself saying,

♥ “I’ll get around to it one day.”

♥ “I’ll wait until I lose 20 lbs and then I’ll do it.”

♥ One day, when I’m rich we’ll have that.”

I know I have. I used to do it all the time. Especially being overweight my entire life. I used my weight as a crutch to put life on hold. Next thing you know, my 20’s are coming to a grinding halt and I’ve used up my allotment of excuses.

Are You Ready?
Opportunity can come when you are open to it. When you are ready with open arms. Let me tell you, since I embraced that thought, my life has changed for the better. I see things in a positive light and I’m ready for anything!

What would you do if the job of your dreams called today? Are you ready?

Prepare for Opportunity
Also, when it comes to opportunity, don’t just sit around waiting for it. It’s your job to make it happen. You must prepare for it.

Just like Oprah says,

“Nothing about my life is lucky. Nothing. A lot of grace, a lot of blessings, a lot of divine order, but I don’t believe in luck. For me, luck is preparation meeting the moment of opportunity. There is no luck without you being prepared to handle that moment of opportunity. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for the moment that is to come.” — Oprah

We only have one life to live. It goes fast as hell. Embrace the good and the bad and be ready. For anything. But, most of all, be ready for the opportunities!
