I think my SmartPhone has become an actual extension of my body. I don’t go anywhere without it!

When it comes to getting healthy and losing weight, I have no clue how I did it before the invention of smart phones!

I have an HTC Thunderbolt, which is run on the Android Market. Therefore, this post is focused on the Android market. Sorry, iPhone users!

Here are my must-have weight-loss and exercise apps!

1. Weight Watchers Mobile
I use this app ALL the time. If you are subscribed to Weight Watchers eTools, you can track your points, look up points values, get recipes, use the cheat sheets, and all kinds of really cool stuff. My fav is the list of restaurants. If you’ve been a WW member since the dark ages, you will remember when you had to tote around that massive book! Those days are gone!

2. Weight Watchers Barcode Scanner
I’m a scanning fool! Now, when I grocery shop, I just scan the item instead of whipping out my paper Weight Watchers sliding calculator. Remember those?!? LOL

3. Weight Watchers Points Plus Calculator
This is quick points calculator without having to use the full app. It’s sort of like a short cut.

4. Grocery IQ
I use this to create my grocery lists. When you enter an item, it puts it into the appropiate category. For example, if I enter “apples” , it will automatically add it under Fruits and Vegetables. As you shop in the store, you can check off the items. No more paper!

5. Cardio Trainer
It’s like a pedometer for your phone! I use this to track my workouts. Specifically, my walks.It tells you how many miles, shows you a map of your walks, and tells you how many calories you’ve burned. I love stuff like that.
