When you’re on a weight loss journey and you start to transform who you used to be there’s this beautiful thing that happens.You begin creating new habits and behaviors that you do on a subconscious level. As the weeks roll by, sometimes you don’t even realize you’re doing it…just like before you didn’t realize how much you were overeating and beating yourself up. You can start to feel like things are just monotonous and well sometimes they are! That’s not always a bad thing! That got me thinking about gratitude. You have to practice gratitude for who you were and who you are becoming…now. Not, when (and if) you get to your goal weight. Now.

These “little” changes aren’t so little. I think back to the old me who NEVER drank water, ate fruit, or touched vegetables. Now? I can’t live without these things and they are just part of my everyday life without thinking about it. When do we take the time to show gratitude for our transformations?
