I am feeling a deep (er) sense of gratitude this Thanksgiving. Javier is exactly one month old today. This past month feels like it was a year but also a week. It was intense with all the postpartum complications I had after he was born. I'm feeling very thankful for my family and for my health this year more than ever.

The morning we got these pics taken, I felt horrible. Sleep deprived, frustrated from trying to get everyone ready and out the door....but something more was going on. I just felt off. Not just the normal just had a baby stuff.

My csection incision also opened that morning and I didn't realize it...that happening ended up saving my life bc it got me to the dr where I was immediately sent and admitted to the hospital for postpartum preeclampsia. My blood pressure was almost 200 at one point😳.

I plan on sharing my full postpartum story soon. I've needed time to gather my thoughts and be at a place emotionally where I'm ready to share with you all. Stay tuned to the Irresistible You podcast for that.

In the meantime, I want to share some of the pics from our newborn shoot with @heidicalma . Thank you so much for capturing our family. You are SO good at what you do!! I almost didn't do the pics with all of us bc of how I felt. I'm so glad we had these done and forever have these memories.
