I feel unmotivated.
I’ve lost all creative energy.
I feel overwhelmed.
I’m sick of feeling like I’m just treading water.
I’m burnt out. With Everything.
I need a break. I need to feel rejuvinated. I need to rediscover myself.
I need a fresh start. I’m ready to
shut slam the door on 2011. And open a new chapter in 2012.
I need to set goals and start working harder than I ever have.
Burnout doesn’t mean you don’t care. It just means you are tired and exhausted of doing the same things and getting the same results. Over. And Over. And Over again.
If I’m not blogging as often over these next few weeks, it’s because I need to get my mind and body right so that I can start the new year on the right foot.
In dealing with those who are undergoing great suffering, if you feel “burnout” setting in, if you feel demoralized and exhausted, it is best, for the sake of everyone, to withdraw and restore yourself. The point is to have a long-term perspective.~Dalai Lama~
The No. 1 cause of burnout is doing the same thing over and over again and not seeing results. You need to do something different, whether it’s increase your weights or do a different exercise.
