It’s been way over a month since I posted my last weekly weigh in. I’ve decided to start posting them again each week. It keeps me accountable and keeps me focused on my goals. Even though I haven’t been posting, I’ve still been following the Weight Watchers plan and doing the weekly coaching sessions.

I mentioned in my last post that I really need to kick my weight loss journey into overdrive. I’ve been doing ok but not really putting much of a dent in my weight.  Today I weighed in and I’m down .6 from last week. As of today I’m down to 214 lbs for a total weight loss of 31 lbs since last May.

Weekly Weigh In - Weight Watchers Tracker - 3.4.15

My first major goal is to get the hell out of the 200’s. Weighing over 200 just makes me feel FAT and I hate it. Only 14 more lbs to go! .I’d love to get that weight off by the end of this month but I’m not sure how realistic that is.  I’m focusing on clean eating right now and intense workouts. I started tonight with the Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed and Shred. Let’s just say OMG!!!

It helps to see the progress week over week because otherwise I totally forget how far I’ve come. If this was any other year in my life, I would have already quit and gained back all the weight. Even though I could be doing better, I’m doing OK considering how the past few months have been. I lost my grandmother in November which really rocked my world. If there was ever a time to quit and gain it all back, it was then. Then in December, I got Morton’s Neuroma which prevented me from doing much activity for weeks. Then, BAM the flu came and knocked me down for weeks in January/February. I don’t give up easily. I don’t take no for an answer (just ask my husband that one lol). I feel like I’m finally in control of this weight loss stuff and I’m not letting it run my life. I’m running it!

I Got This, Yo!

Weight Watchers noticed my efforts from one of my social media posts which totally blew me away.  They sent me this necklace as a reminder to keep going. They even included a personalized letter which truly made my day!

Weight Watchers You Got This

You damn right I got this and so do you! It’s about making small changes and doing them consistently. It’s about doing them even on the days where you want to quit. It’s about pushing through the workouts when your muscles are screaming and there’s tears running down your face. Eventually all of that hard work is going to pay off.

You got this.
