I’ve been meaning to post my weekly weigh in for a few days now but I’ve been working on redesigning my blog. It’s still a work in progress but it’s getting there! What do you think so far?
Remember when I shared what was going on with my grandma in this post? Well, sadly she passed on November 5th. That said, I haven’t been blogging very much because I’ve just been trying to pull myself together and get through the days to the best of my ability. It’s really about taking baby steps during a time like this. I’m finally starting to feel better but I still have good days and bad days.
When I got on the scale this week I teared up because I couldn’t believe what I saw. I was down an entire pound and into a new decade! It was emotional because I always thought I’d be the first to pack on the pounds during a death this close to my heart. I’ve actually really surprised myself with how well I’ve been doing with balancing my emotional eating. I don’t feel like talking much about her passing right now but perhaps in time I’ll share more.
