I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine was wonderful! We did a lot but also did a lot of relaxing. Here’s a few highlights:
I spent some time in the kitchen making these Hash Brown Nests for Sunday Brunch. The last time I made them everyone on Instagram wanted the recipe. They were inspired from the one here on Skinny Taste. I love these!
I also spent time on Sunday whipping up a bunch of DIY Dog Treats for my other blog, Irresistible Pets. I LOVE these and can’t wait to share the final product in tomorrow’s post.
Today I completed Week 2 / Day 1 of the Couch to 5K program. This week the jogging is bumped up to 90 second intervals. It actually wasn’t too bad. My lungs were hurting a bit but I think it was more to do with the cold air.
Last week I promised myself I would just concentrate on my new morning schedule and doing the C25K program. I know that I need to incorporate some circuit/weight training and I need to follow my Weight Watchers meal plan.
In the past I’ve tried to do everything at one time. Then, I end up giving up. Why? Because I have an “all or nothing” mentality when it comes to most things in my life. It’s a flaw that I’m working on.
So this week I’m focusing on staying within my points range and tracking all my food. One layer at a time.
