Beating the Afternoon Crash

I hate 4pm. I hit a low every single day. I’m tired, hungry, and ready for 5pm to hurry up!

This is the most vulnerable time for me to overeat or make the wrong choices. I’m so hungry that I usually don’t care about making that “clean” meal I was planning in my head at 8am. All those things I had on my after work to do list? I feel too tired to care.

If the husband asks if I want to go out to eat, my crazy icing eating maniac side says SURE!!!!!!!!!! Then I totally don’t order what I should. When you’re starving grilled anything with vegetables doesn’t sound good.

Ugh.

I think I need to plan an afternoon pick me up snack. Maybe apple and peanut butter? Not sure.

How do YOU beat the afternoon crash? Help!!!

I wish I had a good answer to this. Simply put. I don’t. :-(

On the other hand… an apple and pb sounds good. Or maybe nutella.

Thanks Clarinda! I think I need to eat more small snacks throughout the day. Maybe that will help!

Many of us feel this way during afternoon. At 3-4 pm I often feel lazy and sleepy and I struggle really hard keep myself awake. My boring job doesn’t help either!
