I just love this song from Pink. I love the message. I love the lyrics. I even love the video. It’s pretty powerful stuff. You have to watch until the end though.
I can relate to it. For years, I’ve felt less than perfect.Not good enough. Not thin enough. Not pretty enough. Not popular enough. Not successful enough. I realized along the way that none of that is true. I am good enough. I’m perfect in my own way. So are you.
I don’t know why we feel like we need other people to validate our worth. Well, maybe it’s human nature. But, as long as we believe in ourselves, that’s all that matters. Just like the girl in the video, she took her pain and turned it into her success. She proved to herself that she is irresistible.
