Are you ready for a vibrant and energetic 2011? The Pantone Color Institute has announced that Honeysuckle is the color of 2011. The blushing pink is the perfect shade to ward off economic doldrums, the company said.

According to the Pantone Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman,

In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues.”
The reddish-pink hue of honeysuckle is just gorgeous and I adore the scent of real Honeysuckle. It reminds me of playing outside as a kid in the summer. I’m pretty excited about this color and can’t wait to incorporate some items into my wardrobe. Will you do the same?

Just dropped by from the LBS Tea Party and have to admit that I am addicted to that particular colour…well probably not actually ‘honeyuckle’ but I love that shade of pink and have quite a lot of stuff similar in colour. I even have a lipstick. Can’t wait for it to hit the shelves and top up my ‘pink space’

My gf is regretting her color choice of apple green for her wedding in March. She now wants to redo everything in Honeysuckle!

Stephanie – You know, she could still do a few accents in honeysuckle. I think it would be a great contrast color with apple green. I would make it subtle . . .
